The Bros 

Bros do Prose was started by Christian Libonati, Ella Raymont and Omen Sade in 2017 to create timely, impactful, and endlessly creative theater for production on any scale. With training ranging from the International Lecoq School in Paris to Mary Zimmerman and Improv Olympics in Chicago, the Bros bring a unique formula creating intelligent, action-packed performances that have all ages laughing, dancing and playing together.

Bros do Prose received three 2017 Broadway World Connecticut nominations including Best Children’s/Family Production for their co-production of THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD by Oliver Emanuel at The Summer Theatre of New Canaan, Connecticut. Bros do Prose has toured THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD & PETER PAN to Connecticut schools and regional theaters.

Christian Libonati

Christian Libonati is a theatre creator, producer and administrator based in Chicago. He is co-founder and managing director of Filament Theatre and co-founder of Bros do Prose. Christian has worked with numerous Chicago arts organizations and helped develop TYA, education, and special needs performance programs at the Summer Theatre of New Canaan. Northwestern University. Ella Raymont

Ella Raymont

Ella Raymont is an actor and educator based in Chicago. Ella holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University, spent 3 years doing short-form improvisation with ComedySportz and completed the training center at iO Chicago for long-form Improvisation. Her physical theatre background is in Grotowsky, Suzuki, Yoga and Circus. She has helped develop new shows that performed in all over Chicago, New York and Beijing. Omen Sade

Omen Sade

Omen Sade is an actor and physical theater creator based in New York City. Sade received a BA in Theater and Social Change from Sarah Lawrence College, has studied Classical Theater in London, commedia dell’arte in Italy and Holland, and completed graduate-level physical theater training at the celebrated École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. A Detroit native, he is an actor, choreographer, and teaching artist in the Chicago community. Credits include: LAST STOP ON MARKET ST. (Chicago Children's Theater), AESOP'S FABLES and DFDR THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS (Raven Theatre), A CHRISTMAS CAROL and OBJECTS IN THE MIRROR (Goodman Theatre), THE WIZ (Kokandy Prod), DRACULA (w/ Mercury Theatre) and ALL OUR TRAGIC (The Hypocrites) and more. Danny Gadaj (performer)

Danny Gadaj (performer)

Danny Gadaj is an actor, clown, and solo performer originally from New Jersey. Danny graduated with honors from the Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Acting. In addition to his extensive movement and voice training, he has also studied several different forms of physical theatre, most recently with the internationally acclaimed Bouffon clown, Eric Davis.

Laura could not be more excited to join the Bros at Mercury Theatre Chicago! Chicago credits include: Masque Macabre (Strawdog Theatre), The Sound of Music (Drury Lane Oakbrook), Grey Gardens (Northlight Theatre), and Gruesome Playground Injuries (The Frontier). Laura is a proud company member at The Passage Theatre. She received her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch and is represented by the bros at Stewart Talent. I believe!

Actor in New York City who has done work with exquisite corpse company, the navigators, the skeleton rep, bros do prose, the instigators, turn to flesh productions, cirque du nuit and the flea theatre.

Megan Gray (Stage Manager)

Megan Gray (Stage Manager)

Megan has been so honored to have worked with Strawdog Theatre Company, Adventure Stage Chicago, the Black Ensemble Theater, and Halcyon Theatre. Megan recently completed a yearlong Artistic Direction Apprenticeship at Magic Theatre in San Francisco where she assistant directed the world premiere of Han Ong’s Grandeur and worked as an ASM on The Baltimore Waltz alongside Paula Vogel. Upcoming projects include Between Riverside and Crazy at Redtwist Theatre and Fast Food Chain at Adventure Stage.

Kelsey Godfrey is a New York City based actor, originally from San Antonio, Texas! Kelsey is an alumn of the University of Oklahoma School of Drama, and after graduating, she spent some time in Chicago where she got the privilege of working with several theaters including Filament Theatre! Kelsey recently completed a year-long tour with Olney Theater Center's educational outreach branch, National Players, and is passionate about the power of educational theater.

Corinne Broadbent (Choreography)

Corinne Broadbent (Choreography)

Corinne is thrilled to be working on her second adventure with Bros do Prose. She has extensive training in many choreographic styles and holds a BFA in Music Dance Theatre and Modern Dance. She gets her energy from her husband Allan and her two children Phaedra and Grayson. In Connecticut, Corinne is a choreographer for The Summer Theatre of New Canaan’s TYA productions: The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, a Fairy’s Tale, James and the Giant Peach, and The Dancing Princesses.

Brad Caleb Lee (Scenic)

Brad Caleb Lee is a Prague-based production designer, assistant director, and is the Programs Coordinators for The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, the largest international exhibition and festival event dedicated to performance design and theatre architecture in the world. He holds an MA with Merit from The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, a BA in Theatre and a BS of Commerce and Business Administration w/ Honors from The University of Alabama. Dan Renkin (Fight Director)

Dan Renkin trained with Tony-recipient B.H. Barry, one of the founders of modern fight direction for stage and film. Recent work includes the workshop premiere of Douglas Carter Beane’s new musical HOOD!, ALL MY SONS (w/Alec Baldwin and Laurie Metcalf) and WOULD YOU STILL (w/Kathleen Turner). In addition to STONC, he teaches for Circle in the Square, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Broadway Classroom, Broadway For All and the New York Film Academy. He looks like this, except taller.
